KQ might lose the battle to Ethiopian Airways

I’ve just watched the review about Ethiopian Airways na clearly wanajiposition as a connection hub. With their fleet of new planes and the new airport being built KQ inaweza jipata pabaya.

When going abroad …

Wacheni niwaibie siri ingine vijana especially kama unataka kwenda kazi nje. DON’T rely on your papers sana.

Community Insight: I feel like I need to weigh in on this with my own experience and it might help someone to think differently and not just listen to people who say Kenyan degrees are useless- you can curve your own path!-I came to Yues with masters degree in Rural sociology- and of course when I got here people told me that a stupid degree and jobs in that field Niza wazungu. I believed and I started working in the warehouse- so for the first 3 years I wasted my time doing some stupid shit thinking I don’t belong- what was a shock is even in the warehouse people would always ask me my level of education since they felt I don’t belong there and I’m educated. Fast forward, I met another family that was making it big here- husband was Ethiopian and worked in insurance field. He introduced me to insurance- this gave me so much confidence to start looking for a job in my field- they always asked me what I’m doing with my life and I’m educated- i finally got a job in healthcare focus on public health even though I’m not public health professionally there was a lot of transferable skills. I had to learn some things but I use my sociological perspective to interpret and view things. We did research and statistics and understanding communities in sociology which helps a lot in my work. I teach public health professionals some things they didn’t do in school but they find important and I learn from them. At times I don’t believe how much time I wasted not believing in myself. If you come to with some sort of education believe in yourself and don’t let the accents deter you.

Mbona Kenyan politicians only visit Kenyans in the US?

Any time unaskia a kenyan politician anaddress kenyans in diaspora it’s always kenyans in the US. Sijaskia wakitembelea Kenyans in the Middle East where Kenyans are having problems.

Community Insight: The community attributes the focus on the United States to its status as the wealthiest and most populous Kenyan diaspora hub, where families seek education and financial stability away from handout culture. Respondents further highlight the region’s role as a primary source of foreign exchange and “real earners,” contrasting it with less affluent labor markets.
